What is Apprenticeship/Training
In Pakistan, Apprenticeship Training
has been in practice, voluntarily, since
inception and statutory since 1962.Apprenticeship
in Pakistan means a system of training
in which an employer undertakes to employ
a person and to train him or have him
trained systematically in an ‘apprentice
able trade’ for a period the duration
of which has been fixed in advance and
in the course of which the Apprentice
is bound to work in the employer’s service
(Apprenticeship Ordinance 1962). Although,

What is legal apprenticeship/Training?
Senior lawyers having 10 years practice
in Pakistan are entitled to conduct
Legal apprenticeship for the law graduates
under legal practitioners and Bar council
acts 1973 and Pakistan legal practitioners
and Bar council act 1976.
How to
enroll as a lawyer in the Bar Council
Legal practitioners and Bar councils
acts 1973 and Pakistan Legal Practitioners
and Bar councils act 1976 are there
for the registration/enrolment of
lawyers and their qualification.
Enrolment in the concerned Provincial
Bar Council is imperative to practice
as a lawyer in the lower courts. After
passing the examination of LL.B a
person can get himself enrolled in
the Bar Council. The enrolment as
an advocate is subject to getting
through the subjective type/ Multiple
Choices of written Examination within
a period of 2½ years in four attempts,
completion of six months apprenticeship
and passing the Viva Voce Examination.
Who we recruit/ train as
an apprentice
We recruit fresh law graduates and
train them in civil and criminal trials
pertaining to land, revenue, homicide
and white collar crime. Also, we train
young apprentices in conveyancing
and pleading especially in drafting
civil suits and application/petitions
and criminal bail applications as
well.
What we do after completion of apprenticeship
training
Upon the completion of successful apprenticeship
training, we grant apprenticeship
training certificates to the successful
candidates. Who can use them for future
